 jeez... the HOT RAT ACTION never stops at RATKILL.com! I just cleaned and rebaited the trap last night -- after leaving the last victim/visitor in the trap for 10 weeks (you'll have to check the message board under "RATKILL News and Information" to learn more about that saga). In any case, just a few hours after the January 9th, 2003 rebait... BLAMO! The RATZAPPER (the one on the right) got this one. PAST "LAST DEAD RATKILL RAT" PICS  this one met the steel cable of death just a few days after we left for a european vacation. not having the heart to ask my mother-in-law to clean the trap -- and tell her about the ratcam -- it sat 3 weeks until we got back. of course, then when we got back, it was nasty so it sat for another 6 weeks until it stopped smelling completely. it was a very big rat.  just noticed this one as i checked to see if the camera is still working on september 24, 2002. i thought i saw it change from the previous frame, meaning i checked in just as it checked out. hard to know for sure. he/she also chose the tube (Black Hole) trap. first rat killed in the house in more than a year.  one of our users saw this rat get axed on august 8, 2001. he/she chose the tube trap, which has a spring loaded cable that when triggered pulls upwards from the bottom of the mouth of the trap. it's the most effective non-electric trap we've found.  this rat succumbed to the peanut butter in our "rat-zapper" electric trap on july 28th, 2001. see more ratcam pics in our best pics section. |
